Compression Technician

A Compression Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of compression equipment used in the oil, gas, and natural gas industries. The role involves monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on compressors and other mechanical equipment.
• Operational Monitoring: Monitor compressor units for proper operation and performance.
• Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including environmental protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, operators, and other technicians to resolve issues.
