The Machine Operator will remove product from the production line, inspect it to the customerâs specifications and pack into designated cartons. The job requires a high school diploma or GED and previous manufacturing experience is a plus. The employee will work in a production environment, recognize various sounds and alarms, and be able to communicate with co-workers on issues and activities.
Requirements
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines
- Review production orders and reports discrepancies of product specifications to line Foreman
- Remove finished product from winders and places it on scales to verify weight
- Places identification labels on product or skids and keeps records or generates tally sheets as required
- Ensures that quality is in accordance with work order specifications
- Responsible for personal and overall safety, quality of packaging, careful damage free handling, and housekeeping
- Responsible for adhering to and executing the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees
