Machine Operator II - Blow Mold -LX

Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator II - Blow Mold to join their team, responsible for operating blow mold machines and ensuring high-quality finished products. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Ensures all machines are kept running and producing quality bottles while ensuring the least amount of down-time possible
• Follows production schedules and communicates any changes to team members when necessary
• Start-up and shut down of blow mold machine and supporting equipment
• Organization ability to complete daily cleaning and adequately maintains good housekeeping throughout the area
• Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding and recognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustments to correct quality defects
• Maintains all required documentation for quality checks and testing, process checks, downtime, housekeeping and data entry
• Operates forklift safely and efficiently
• Displays a full understanding and working knowledge of all related software and other equipment required for efficient production of quality product
• Follows all established safety rules and guidelines
• Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and Supervisors
• Properly uses all required personal protective equipment
• Performs other related duties as directed by the Production Supervisor
