Machine Operator INJECTION & BLOW MOLD

Primary Purpose: Responsible for operating blow molding equipment and maintaining consistent machine operation and product quality. Performs quality assurance tests and enters resultant data into the computer system. Must have basic mechanical skill and knowledge of blow molding equipment and downstream equipment.

Requirements

• Abides by all Amcor's Safety and Quality policies and procedures
• Maintains standard production objectives through proper machine operation and records production, accurately
• Makes necessary machine adjustments to maintain consistent machine operation and product quality
• Performs quality assurance tests using appropriate measuring devices and basic math skills, and enters resultant data into the computer system
• Has authority to stop production due to quality issues
• Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as trained during the various safety-related training programs
• Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and managers/supervisors
• Properly uses all personal protective equipment
• Maintains housekeeping of all assigned areas
• Actively participates in Quality training and Good Manufacturing Practice meetings to assist in continuous improvement of plant operations
