A Maintenance Automation specialist troubleshoots, services, and repairs computerized systems and robotic devices that are designed to reduce human interaction.
Requirements
- Responsible for following all plant and department specific safety rules, procedures, and programs.
- Able to link up with and communicate with all PLC and Drive Platforms
- Advanced Troubleshooting utilizing Rapid Problem Solving Techniques and other principles
- Ability to mentor and train other technicians and maintenance trainees on the Amcor systems, and develop training procedures that do not exist.
- Capable of understanding and calibrating E/P, Loadcell, and other process sensors/scales.
- Capable of setting PID controls on Temperature Controllers
- Work more closely with OEM’s to understand equipment functionality and setup.
- Capable of designing and implementing Project Improvement Projects specifically in the field of electronics.
- Capable of updating prints, redlines, through the use of AutoCAD 2D
- Capable of writing electrical procedures and documentation
- A willingness to work nights and weekends depending upon the call volume and after hour issues
- Capable of working directly with Corporate and Plant Engineering. When requested, participate in larger Capex Projects
