Maintenance Technician position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production molding and assembly machinery and auxiliary equipment. Repair and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, robotics, and program issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years experience working in maintenance for a manufacturing company
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Knowledge of plumbing, and welding is beneficial
- Advanced technical training or applied experience with hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics, and control systems
- Excellent print reading (schematics) capabilities
