Molding Technician

Role Overview

The Molding Technician is responsible for setting up and overseeing molding machine operation to ensure efficiency and quality. They will work in a professional manner with other mold technicians and maintenance personnel to keep all equipment in top working order. The role requires a technical understanding of process and raw materials used.

What You Will Do

The Molding Technician will set up machines for operation, change material and color to meet production schedules, and make adjustments to machines to maintain efficient production levels. They will also perform mold repairs, insert changes, and preventative maintenance as required.

The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of process and raw materials used, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be able to respond promptly to alarms and/or requests for assistance to correct machine malfunctions and/or Packer/Handler problems.
