We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the Pressurized Lunar Rover project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, system integration, risk management, and testing & verification. This position will work closely with Lead Systems Engineer and the Project Systems Engineering team, as well as internal, external, and international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Serve as a Senior Systems Engineer for the Pressurized Lunar Rover
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level systems engineers
- Develop, review, and maintain system and subsystem specifications
- Own and manage requirements baselines using requirements management tools
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to support architecture definition
- Ensure requirements are clear, verifiable, and testable, and aligned with project architecture and mission objectives
- Provide technical leadership for the development and review of verification plans
- Coordinate with integration, discipline, and test engineers to resolve requirements issues
- Support major lifecycle reviews from a requirements, MBSE, and verification perspective
- Participate in technical decision-making, trade studies, and risk assessments impacting requirements and system architecture
