Senior Thermal Systems Engineer

Lunar Outpost is seeking a Senior Thermal Systems Engineer to help define the future of lunar surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment. The role involves supervising requirements management, standards compliance, verification, validation, and testing activities, and serving as a technical point of contact for vendors and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, Systems, or other relevant engineering field
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with spacecraft AI&T campaigns
• Experience working with spacecraft Active and Passive Thermal Control Systems Engineering
• Experience with managing interface controls
• Experience with hardware procurement and vendor management
• Experience in leading requirement verification and validation efforts
• Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with program scheduling and U.S. Person
