Line Troubleman

As a Line Troubleman at Ameren Missouri, you will be responsible for patrolling, repairing, and restoring electric service on overhead and underground circuits. You will work mostly on a rotating shift, and at times on a regular day-shift assignment, and will be required to work alone. You will also be responsible for inspecting and operating automatic substation equipment, making residential, commercial or industrial trouble calls, and handling customer service repairs and adjustments.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or the equivalent
• One year of experience as a Lineman or successful completion of the Apprentice Line Troubleman Training program
• Thorough knowledge of overhead line construction and standard practices
