Boiler Operator – Second Shift

Ameresco is hiring 3 Boiler Operators for the day shift to support a high-pressure steam plant at the Naval Research Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of mechanical/electrical experience, and a valid U.S. driver's license.

Requirements

• Operate and monitor boilers, pumps, and associated equipment.
• Perform routine plant rounds and report abnormalities.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Complete shift logs and daily reports accurately.
• Assist with plant start-up/shutdown following SOPs.
• Respond to trouble calls and escalate as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to safety policies.
