Construction Manager/Site Superintendent for energy performance contract construction project, responsible for on-site supervision, coordination, and execution of construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, and compliance with Canadian laws and standards.
Requirements
- Legally entitled to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsorship
- Valid provincial driver's license, in good standing
- Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Status security clearance
- A minimum of 5 years experience in commercial building electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction management
- Prior experience working on Federal Government of Canada projects
- Completion of, or active progress toward, engineering, technical, or industry-related education
- Familiarity with National Master Specification (NMS) tender documents
- Knowledge of safety standards such as COR, ISO 45001, or equivalent frameworks
- Proven understanding of project management standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering strong, positive business relationships
- Experience in project risk assessment and risk management
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Leadership capabilities with the ability to guide teams effectively
- Strong multi-tasking ability in a dynamic work environment
- Current First Aid certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with solid technical, computer, and presentation abilities
