Job Description
Join American Airlines as a Supervisor, Aircraft Base Maintenance, and lead a team of Crew Chiefs and mechanics in the dynamic and fast-paced Maintenance organization. As a key member of the Base Maintenance Team, you will oversee daily Production requirements, ensure compliance and safety, and lead staff to maximize skills and efficiency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- Ability to pass FAA criminal background checks and secure airport security badges
- A&P License
- Strong working knowledge of the GPM and SPPM
- Understanding of Airline/Technical operations
- Knowledge of audit requirements
- Knowledge of labor reporting and crew utilization
- Strong interpersonal and PC skills
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple areas of responsibility
- Excellent analytical, organization and planning skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of team members
