Production Planner

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is seeking a Material Planner to plan, coordinate, and manage the procurement and inventory of materials across manufacturing and recycling operations. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, production teams, and logistics to optimize material availability and minimize delays.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain material planning schedules to support production requirements
• Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and initiate procurement or production actions to avoid stockouts
• Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Review bill of materials (BOMs) and production plans to determine material requirements
• Track lead times and adjust plans to accommodate changes in demand or supply delays
• Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems
• Analyze supply chain data to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and improve service levels
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in material planning, forecasting, and production processes
• Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and logistics teams to address material-related issues
