Job Description
ABS is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to drive industry-leading research and development related to Digital Twin, Structural Repairs utilizing Compound, and marine/offshore applications. The role involves mentoring team members, leading project execution, ensuring high-quality service, and advising management on technical needs. ABS focuses on promoting security, protecting the environment, and supporting safety in the maritime and offshore industries.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of ABS or hands-on maritime-related industry or research experience
- B.S. degree in related disciplines (advanced degree preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with structural analysis using ABS engineering applications and commercial software
- Ability to work independently and lead projects
- Understanding of ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System
