Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector will perform inspection of electronic components, sheet metal fabricated items, printed circuit boards and hardware to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Perform inspections on first article, incoming, in-process and final products
- Perform AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement and solder joint defects
- Conduct visual and measurement tests
- Document and communicate rejections of unacceptable items
- Maintain accurate records of inspections
- Generate interdepartmental forms/reports
- Perform internal manufacturing process audits
- Interact with the purchasing department around non-conforming product dispositions
- Assist with receiving and stockroom functions
