Transmission Right of Way Agent Associate level - Senior level

The Transmission Right of Way Agent Associate is responsible for assisting in the acquisition of land rights necessary for the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric transmission and/or distribution facilities. They develop relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders and have the ability to organize projects and meet deadlines for completion of assignments.

Requirements

• Negotiate with property owners for the acquisition of land rights
• Settle damage claims with property owners
• Search courthouse and other records to determine property ownership
• Review and interpret legal documents, property surveys, and appraisals
• Prepare routine approved legal documents for land rights acquisition
• Maintain property owner files and maps
• Provide real estate values and advice on fair market values
• Develop an understanding of TROW estimate and scoping guidelines
• Review and approve vouchers for payments of expenses
