Job Description
The Clinical Auditor is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the clinical audit program, conducting research, performing audits, and providing training and reports.
Requirements
- Develops a clinical audit plan in collaboration with medical and clinical disciplines
- Facilitates implementation of clinical audit programs/plans
- Develops clinical audit data collection tools
- Conducts research on new treatment protocols and clinical practice guidelines
- Performs audits of medical records
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive database of clinical audit results
- Conducts training sessions on clinical audit
- Assists in preparation of audit report and facilitates dissemination of results
- Participates in proactive risk reduction activities
