The School of Architecture and Design invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Multimedia Design at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching multimedia design, maintain an active research and/or creative practice profile, and engage with contemporary multimedia technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- PhD in Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or a closely related field; or MFA in Multimedia Design or Digital Media from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five years of university-level teaching experience (for senior ranks), with demonstrated excellence in studio-based multimedia instruction
- Strong portfolio evidencing professional and/or research-based work in multimedia, motion design, animation, or interactive media
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop), 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D), motion graphics platforms, and interactive design tools
- Evidence of peer-reviewed publications, creative productions, exhibitions, or recognized professional practice
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Experience working effectively in multicultural academic environments
