Job Description
American Heritage Schools of Broward County is seeking English Teachers for grades 6th-12th. Honors and AP experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Demonstrate mastery of content knowledge
- Plan and implement learning tasks with purpose and innovation
- Assess learning in a variety of ways using formative and summative measures
- Provide timely and relevant feedback to students and parents
- Differentiate and modify learning tasks according to student need
- Maintain standards of appropriate discipline in accordance with school rules and the student handbook
- Provide for students' safety and general welfare
- Proactively communicate with parents, principals, and academic advisors
