The Specialty Engineer II position at American Tower's U.S. Tower division involves developing infrastructure designs for telecommunications facilities, including civil engineering, building design, and network infrastructure designs. The role requires end-to-end ownership of engineering tasks for land development projects, supporting internal and external resources to ensure completed designs meet technical requirements. Responsibilities include using AutoCAD and/or Civil3D, acting as a project manager, and triaging multiple project types of moderate complexity.

- Lead design strategies for discipline-specific decisions for assigned projects.
- Regularly communicate with counterparts outside of the engineering department who represent the team managing site-specific designs; manage a single program type when needed.
- Continuously learn and apply new industry concepts and technologies.
