Director, Rates & Regulatory

Director, Rates & Regulatory oversees the planning and execution of state rate and regulatory strategy, ensuring effective execution of rate cases, rate mechanism compliance filings, and other key rate and regulatory matters to achieve business objectives. This role is a critical member of the state senior leadership team, providing advice and expertise on a proactive basis to executives, senior managers, and employees. The position is responsible for leading or co-leading the regulatory approval process for acquisitions, building and retaining a diverse pipeline of talent, and overseeing complex rate and regulatory proceedings across a state.

Requirements

• 10 years demonstrated results in driving and executing rate cases and regulatory filings in multiple jurisdictions in a lead role on multiple rate cases.
• 10 years prior accounting/finance related job experience required, including experience with full cycle accounting processes.
• 5 years supervisory experience or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field MBA in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Certifications & Licenses: Advance certification such as CPA, CMA or Engineering preferred
