Principal Data Engineer

Americor is a leading provider of debt relief solutions, seeking a Principal Data Engineer to join their rapidly growing team, responsible for building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes, designing scalable data pipelines, and ensuring data security and quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency with Python
• Advanced proficiency with SQL
• Experience with dbt core cli
• Advanced skills with database architecture and data pipelining
• Experience utilizing cloud services to develop ETL/ELT pipelines; AWS Lambda, S3, etc.,
• Experience using orchestrator, scheduling, and monitoring tools; Airflow and cron
• Experience leveraging git for codebase source control; experience developing GitHub/Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose
• Proven ability to position oneself to advise and teach across a data organization
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
