Underwriting Supervisor

As an Underwriting Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of underwriters to achieve the company's production and quality goals, while ensuring mortgage loans are underwritten following proper guidelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience in Residential Mortgage Loan Underwriting or similar field
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Previous leadership experience required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
• Intermediate to advanced experience in understanding and knowledge of technology that supports mortgage banking, Encompass (LOS) and core systems and MS Office products
• DE, SAR or equivalent certification preferred
