Job Description
As a Sterile IV Compounding Technician at AmeriPharma, you will play a critical role in the preparation and compounding of sterile intravenous (IV) medications under the supervision of a licensed infusion pharmacist.
Requirements
- Valid and current Pharmacy Technician License
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sterile compounding or IV preparation
- Strong knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> guidelines
- Proficient in pharmaceutical math and dosage calculations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proven time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar systems
- Ability to work in a cleanroom for extended periods and lift moderate weight
