Senior Manager, Accounting

We’re a diversified financial services leader seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting to lead the team responsible for investment portfolio accounting and controls across multiple businesses and product lines.

Requirements

• Manage multiple relationships across the organization and provide accounting and reporting expertise to finance partners
• Review, analyze, and resolve complex issues in accounting for investments and provide oversight to staff
• Support and design accounting processes driven by business changes
• Approve journal entries, controls and balance sheet reconciliations and work arounds for non-automated processes
• Maintain strong control environment to ensure accuracy of accounting results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Lead process improvement to ensure that integrity, control and optimal efficiency are established while minimizing financial risks
• Provide people and organizational leadership
