Traveling Field Site Safety & Health Officer

The Field Site Safety & Health Officer will advance a higher standard of health and safety throughout all assigned operations of Ameritech Contracting, ensuring no employee is exposed to unacceptable conditions. The role will promote the site-specific Accident Prevention Plan and Corporate Safety Program, conduct inspections, perform audits, conduct safety training, and investigate accidents and incidents.

Requirements

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (updated within the last 5 years)
• A minimum of five (5) years of construction industry safety experience (within the last 10 years)
• A minimum of three (3) years of construction industry safety experience, and one of the following certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Construction Safety and Health Technician (CSHT), or Degree in safety and health from an accredited university or college
