Job Description
We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Animal Medical Center I-35 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Our ideal teammate is energetic, outgoing, and adaptable, with a positive outlook and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Ability to be adaptable and work well with existing doctors and team members
- Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
