Job Description
Gainesville Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent nursing skills to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be able to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
Requirements
- Experienced Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 2 years experience at an animal hospital
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic & excellent nursing skills
- Ability to successfully restrain animals
- Able to complete clinical laboratory tests (fecal, heartworm tests, ear cytology)
- Ability to administer injections and medications
- Ability to perform xrays
- Able to lift over 50 pounds
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule & Saturdays are a requirement
- Must be dependable, compassionate, & a team player
- Good communication skills are a must
