Assembler

The Assembler performs mechanical or electro-mechanical sub-assembly work, requires simple adjusting and fitting of pre-finished parts, and uses simple hand tools.

Requirements

• Performs assembly operations either by wire bonding, soldering, spot welding, staking, or epoxying.
• Operates ultrasonic welding apparatus.
• Attaches various I.C.s, transistors, resistors, or thermistors to P.C. boards.
• Performs oil fill operations.
• Conducts tests for some final units.
• Performs life testing programs utilizing a computer.
• Provides training or instruction of co-workers and other employees when needed.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
