Buyer

The Buyer role is responsible for purchasing raw materials, outside services, equipment, and supplies at the most favorable price while ensuring quality, quantity, delivery, and other factors. Work directly in support of line operations and collaborate with department managers, engineers, and operations staff.

Requirements

• Associates degree or at least 3 years of applicable experience
• Advanced skills in supplier negotiations
• Experience with Consignment & Supplier Inventory
• Advanced computer skills including Windows Office Suite and ERP systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organizational skills
• Exceptional problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and work well with others
