The Atlas Buyer/Planner is responsible for all purchasing activities associated with supporting production, after sales service, and parts requirements for an assigned product line.
Requirements
- Practical knowledge of leading-edge purchasing strategies and the material planning process.
- Experience in sourcing PCBA, electro-mechanical, fabricated, machined, and electrical components.
- Experience in developing and maintaining supplier relationships globally.
- Experience managing supplier relationships in an ISO9001 certified company.
- Strong drive for continuous process and productivity improvement.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop successful relationships with internal and external customers.
- Strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and strong understanding of ERP systems and their operation.
- Supply Chain / Purchasing / Planning certification or working toward certification is preferred (CPSM, CPIM, CSCP)
