CNC Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with expertise in CNC machinery to join our service team, responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing CNC machines at customer sites across the Chicago area and the U.S. West Coast.

Requirements

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC machines and automation systems on-site across West Coast in a timely and efficient manner.
• Install, commission, and test CNC machines and associated automation equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity.
• Conduct machine demonstrations and provide technical expertise during customer visits.
• Accurately document all service activities, including parts used, labor time, and any technical issues encountered.
• Provide remote and telephone support to customers for troubleshooting and technical guidance.
