PCB Design Engineer

As a PCB Design Engineer at Abaco, you will join one of the world’s premier PCB Engineering design groups, designing leading edge hi-speed PCBs for military/aerospace applications and commercial/industrial organizations. You will work in a fast-paced engineering environment, collaborating with electrical, mechanical & manufacturing engineers to ensure design is optimised. The role involves performing signal and power integrity analysis, participating in design reviews, and generating drawings, documentation, and reports.

Requirements

• Design of leading-edge PCBs for electronic assemblies used in military and aerospace applications
• Perform basic signal and power integrity analysis on designs
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback
• Ensure PCB designs meet quality and design criteria
• Work closely with electrical, mechanical & manufacturing engineers to ensure design is optimised
• Operate with initiative and appropriate guidance to produce products that meet both customer and business needs
• Achieve high quality standards, adhering to best practices and agreed procedures
• Communicate development status appropriately to team and all stakeholders in a timely and professional fashion
• Generate drawings, documentation and reports
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (processes, tools, project management)
• Co-ordinate various tasks and activities associated with the design process
