Senior Plant Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial closing, financial reporting, general accounting, and other various accounting functions such as month end, quarter end and year end closings.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Masters Degree is a plus
• Must have 5-8 years experience in an accounting role
• Highly proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) as well as General Leger software systems
• Able to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
• Able to read/analyze financial related data and/or reports
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and data-manipulation skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in a Union environment preferred
• Able to comprehend verbal and written instructions and procedures
• Capable of functioning in a multi-task environment
