Electrician

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-site Electrician in HMP Lindholme, Bawtry Rd, Hatfield Woodhouse, Hatfield, Doncaster DN7 6EE. The Electrician will be responsible for planned and preventative electrical maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical systems in a prison environment.

Requirements

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent
• BS7671 18th Edition, with upskilling to 18th Edition considered
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
• Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
• Able to work at heights, to work independently and use initiative
• Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems (desirable)
• Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations
• Basic IT skills
