Job Description
Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account working on Facilities Management, delivering critical services for prisons that make a real positive impact across the UK. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Electrician in HMP Frankland, Brasside, Durham DH1 5YD.
Requirements
- City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent
- BS7671 18th Edition, however, we will consider 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Able to work at heights, to work independently and use initiative
- Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations
- Basic IT skills
