We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our team in HMP Stocken. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the courts is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner. The role includes administrative duties, fault finding, and electrical maintenance.
Requirements
- City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent
- BS7671 18th Edition (or 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition)
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Able to work at heights, to work independently and use initiative
- Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems (desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations
- Basic IT skills
