Requirements

• PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, data science, or a related discipline
• OR Master’s degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, data science, or a related discipline and 3 years of relevant research experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, data science, or a related discipline and 5 years of relevant research experience
• Strong background in cardiometabolic disease and/or immunology, including applications in the interpretation of single-cell data
• Proficient in extracting actionable mechanistic insights from complex biological datasets through development and creative application of AI/ML-based analytical strategies
• Strong programming skills (Python, R, Linux/Unix) and experience with cloud computing environments, HPC, and collaborative coding practices (e.g., Git)
• Track record of designing and executing creative and holistic computational strategies to address challenging research questions
• Proven expertise in the analysis and interpretation of single-cell omics data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning and growth
