Catholic Chaplain (Casual)

The Catholic Chaplain position is a part-time, casual, non-benefited position at Amherst College. The Chaplain provides support to the Catholic community, including students, staff, faculty, alumni, parents, and families. The role involves student support and advising, sacramental leadership, and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Trained in the Catholic tradition
• Organizational and pastoral care skills
• Ability to teach Catholic tenets and provide a welcoming ministry
• Previous professional work and/or volunteer experience in a Catholic organization
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Strong oral, written, and non-verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage logistics and multiple tasks
