Job Description
Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to work as Counselor I in their in-prison facilities, providing face-to-face rehabilitative programming services.
Requirements
- Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based and standardized curriculum
- Conduct class and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans
- Evaluate and document progress of participants
- Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS
- Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations
- Work collaboratively with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff
