Job Description
Amity Foundation is seeking a Counselor I to work in their in-prison facilities, providing rehabilitative programming services to help the inmate population. The position offers a chance to enhance training and experience in the field while working in a community that fosters trust and development.
Requirements
- Must obtain AOD certification within 5 years
- Current AOD Registration with an approved organization
- Understanding of substance abuse causes, symptoms, and effects
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills
- Operational knowledge of MS Office Suite and ARMS
- Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity under pressure
