Job Description
Amity Foundation is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Registered/Certified Substance Abuse Counselor I. The counselor will provide face-to-face rehabilitative programming services to participants in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience providing SUDT services as a certified AOD Counselor
- Current AOD Certification with organization recognized by the DHCS OR Registration with BBS or AOD certifying body, depending on education level
- Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Operational knowledge of MS Office Suite and ARMS (preferred)
