We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Cloud Database Engineer to join our Vitality Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and modern data platforms, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining database systems. The role will involve ensuring robust database security, performing regular maintenance, driving optimization initiatives, and leading modernization efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud database administration
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and modern data platforms
- Design, develop, and maintain database systems, including database schemas, user, role, privileges, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
- Conduct database performance tuning and optimization, including indexing strategies, query optimization, and database parameter configuration and partitioning
- Monitor and ensure data integrity, security, and privacy in accordance with industry best practices and compliance standards
