Cloud Database Engineer

Nomura is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Engineer to design, build, and operate mission-critical database platforms. The candidate will work in production support operations and contribute to various strategies across database technologies. Experience in AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL is required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Development
• Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure for AWS database services
• Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• In-depth knowledge of IAM Policies and AWS security practices
• Solid understanding of AWS logging and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance best practices in cloud environments
• Expertise in Python
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and good team player
• Well-motivated in learning the latest technology trends and ability to self-learn
• Good foundational knowledge of Linux Operating system as a Database engineer
• Engineering Mindset & Troubleshooting skills
