We are seeking a Senior Cloud Data/Datastore Engineer to work at an MUFG office or client sites four days a week and remotely one day. The selected colleague will be responsible for advancing cloud database automation techniques, developing cloud resource provisioning using Terraform / Cloud formation, data conversion & migration expertise, integration with different data workflow engines, familiarity with relational, No-SQL and data warehousing datastore internals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience or equivalent with programming and DBMS (datastore) management
- Have either and AWS associate or professional certification (or equivalent)
- Strong database experience in Cloud and on-premises database systems (Oracle, SQL server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hadoop Bigdata, DW systems such as Snowflake/data bricks)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS, with multiple AWS services beyond traditional IaaS services
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services such as Lambda, Aurora, Dynamo DB, EMR, Glue, DMS, Quick sight, Athena, Airflow, SQS/SNS etc.
- Possess Coding skills of 2+ years in Python, Scala and database procedural languages (PL/SQL, T-SQL, PG SQL etc) and automation scripting with Java Script / Node.JS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with infrastructure and database automation/programming capability with Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible and Python
