Operator, Finishing/Bindery - 2nd Shift

Requirements

• Experience operating a high speed processing and finishing system in the printing and mailing industry
• Transforming large rolls of printed paper into final products such as direct mail, transactional documents, inserts and book blocks
• Enter data into ERP system to monitoring overall performance, efficiency, and quality
• Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance
• Sample and monitor product quality and making modifications as needed
• Troubleshoot finishing line performance and quality problems, correcting and stabilizing performance as they occur
• Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to document regular activities and e-mail correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
