Job Description
Amsted Canada Inc. is a leader in the manufacture of industrial components and seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing office on Prince Edward Island. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem solving, and a commitment to accuracy and continual improvement.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience processing invoices preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Adobe PDF
- Experience with SAP and Open Text a plus
- Basic math skills for unit of measure conversions
- Proven ability to handle large volumes of transactions
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
