Laborer Production

Amsted Graphite Materials, LLC is seeking a Laborer Production to join their team. As a Laborer Production, you will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks, operating industrial machines and machinery, and working safely in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous work experience in an industrial heavy manufacturing work environment is preferred.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• A valid driver's license
• Must be willing and able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to perform manual labor
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and operating procedures
• Reasoning skills to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Ability to work a rotating shift as assigned including daily and weekly overtime requirements
• Previous work experience in an industrial heavy manufacturing work environment
• Previous safety training or OSHA certification
• Previous quality training or ISO certification training
• Heavy equipment operator license or previous experience operating heavy equipment
• Previous Forklift certification
• Previous experience operating industrial machines and/or machinery
• Computer skills
