The Training Specialist will be responsible for the coordination and support of day-to-day training activities, including onboarding new employees, training and qualifications, trainer coordination and department-wide training initiatives.
Requirements
- Support the new hire onboarding process by coordinating trainer assignments and conducting and/or facilitating onboarding activities
- Deliver individual On-the-Job Training (OJT) utilizing OJT Guides, Work Instructions, Quality Plans, etc.
- Conduct qualification assessments utilizing appropriate JQS files to ensure employees have the skill and knowledge necessary to produce quality parts
- Provide edits and feedback to OJT Guides, JQS files and other training items as identified based on both operator and manager feedback
- Review trainer performance and recommend improvements to trainer qualification content and process
- Identify potential gaps in training and qualification documentation and processes and work with Training Department and Operations to resolve
- Provide training in support of Procedure, Work Instruction and Quality Plan changes, RCA actions, annual training requirements, etc.
- Champion new business processes and systems, e.g. LMS, Beekeeper, MES
